Presentation of data from our published paper “The mathematics of erythema” at the ÖGRO congress in Villach, Austria
Our published paper about machine learning and developing the SEV value will be presented at the ÖGRO annual congress in Villach, Austria, with our collaborator at the Landeskrankenhaus Graz, Dr. Richard Partl.
The ÖGRO (Austrian Society for Radiation Oncology, Radiobiology and Medical Radiophysics) will hold its annual congress on October 14 and 15 in Villach, Austria. In addition to the topics of radiology technology and radiooncology nursing, the congress is also dedicated to the future topics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Management. Lectures and posters will be presented on these topics. As an example of AI-based medicine and technology, Richard Partl, MD, a radiation oncologist at Landeskrankenhaus Graz, will present our shared data on machine learning and the development of the Standardized Erythema Value (SEV). The scientific publication "The mathematics of erythema" describes how our software Scarletred®Vision can detect radiation-induced skin reaction (RISR) using its AI-based algorithm. Thus, it can serve as a decision tool for physicians, enabling fast, reliable and efficient evaluation of erythema grading.
